Costa Rica

Wow an amazing week and a half. Sadly we have not really found a way to upload pictures yet... but picture the most beautiful scenery, weather, and handsome austin and thats what i have been able to see...
We Started in San Jose and loved exploring the city. There are so many people here and streets are full of yummy food and handicrafts to buy. We went up North to La Fortuna. Here we stayed right at the base of an active volcano!! Volcan Arenal. It was really a cool thing to see and experience. We were able to hike through the rainforest, monkeys swinging all around us. Different beautiful birds chirping all around. The Jungle is so amazing. We were also able to go to the hotsprings, wow! the whole river runs as hot water all heated by the volcano. It was a little weird knowing that we were so close to such an active volcano but we survived! We also got to see Volcan Poas. Here we hiked right up to the rim of the crater. Looked straight down into it! This volcano is located in the cloud forest. This means cold and foggy. It was really pretty and fun to get that close even with the fog. Next we took off for the Beach!! On the pacific coast, to Playa Del Coco. This is a black sand beach, we had never seen this before, it was so cool! The sand surprsingly cool and made for some really good pictures! we saw iguannas, birds, spent time at the zoo to see more monkeys, tucans, and other animals we have never seen! the weather was very rainy for a bit, seeing tropical storm Tomas was around. Its all cleared up now and we are enjoying every bit of this sun. The food is so yummy! We eat rice and beans with everything haha. even breakfast:/ and alot of chicken, carne, eggs, cheese! The most amazing fresh fruit and yummy chocolate milk! We are safe and so so happy we have gotten to take the chance to make this trip. We are learning so much everyday. We are so lucky to be so blessed, even in little Boise Idaho. For now we are off to the beach !! Miss you all!
