Happy Birthday to my little friends!

Will and Ruby turned ONE!!
I know I know not my babies, but I love them and I'm so proud of them growing into such sweet toddlers!
Unfortunately they both had Croup all week and the worst day was their birthday... we still partied hard!

This was Will;s reaction to the cake placed in front of him, not so interested...
Ruby on the other hand, was in love with the sugar and idea of smashing it everywhere..

all tired out after a long day of play.

  Happy Birthday little babes.
ha ha I had to add this picture because I think its funny.
Just lounging out, feet up, getting in some last minute giggles before nap time!

Welcome 2012

2011 has come and gone....(and its almost February already say what??!)  As Austin and I reflected on the past year, we realized 2011 was a lot different than 2010. No wedding occurred, no honeymoon cruise, no once in a lifetime summer job together, no months were spent traveling through the jungles of Costa Rica or ruins of the Mayan culture, we didn't have months at a time with no job or school occurring in our life :) needless to say, YES 2010 was a great year for us, a hard one to follow for sure, but we loved everything 2011 threw at us.
The year was busy. simple. stable. organized. educating. loving.  We truly have been blessed with jobs and the opportunity to further our education. We have grown closer together and closer to the savior. We love where we are right now in life. We are so grateful for every opportunity we had in 2011 to become better people, to learn, to grow and change!
Austin's top 3 of 2011
1. Got a job at IDOC
2. Shot his first deer.
3. One year anniversary
Karalee's top 3 of 2011
1. Ran my first half marathon
2. Found Will and Ruby
3.  One year anniversary

Happy New Year!!!
This year is off to a great start. We were able to sit down together and make some new goals, look into the future and know where we want to be by 2013... so here we go, lets see what 2012 has in store...  together we can handle it!
