Austin and I have both been so excited for the weather to start warming up so we can try out all our new camping toys!! We both finally had a free weekend from work and school and decided to head up to the mountains. We had such a fun time. Austin worked hard to get us fires started even with soaking wet wood after the rain storm. The weather was perfect. It was so nice to get into the fresh air, step back from busy wedding plans and school and realize we are married and just enjoy our time together!
We got to use our new tent and and air mattress from the Baldersons, thanks guys it was perfect:)
Of course, for Austin, the mountains means he has to bring his gun. He has so much fun with it. I love watching him run around like a 5 year old with a huge smile acrossed his face. The day ended sadly for some poor little bird, but aust had a good time.
This is my favorite view from the weekend!!! Idaho mountains are gorgeous and make me so happy. Im so glad for the time we get to go and spend up there.
Sadly, the weekend ended with Austins poor truck stuck in the mud. After an hour of working on it ( austin with only the help of his weak little wife :) we decided we were truly stuck. A few prayers, swears, crossed fingers, and sweaty tired couple later a jeep cherokee drove by and saved us!! We were so lucky and happy to have friendly people like that around to help us out that day!
What a fun weekend, in the Idaho mountains. It got me excited to go up and spend our summer weekends up there this year!
